Product Delivery
& Quality Control
A. J. Pietsch has established a project
management approach to ensure delivery on even the most aggressive
timelines, while an operations staff of professionals provides the resources
to achieve this commitment.
This system provides clients a single point-of-contact (Project Manager) which ensures accountability and consistency, especially important on projects where there are multiple General Contractors, and even more subcontractors. It further reduces our client’s stress knowing there’s one person to call regarding the status of a project. Key aspects of the system include:
|
√ |
Client Kick-off Meeting: Our Project Manager meets with the client to establish deadlines, budget and other project goals and objectives. |
|
√ |
Internal Kick-off Meeting: With a clear understanding of the deadlines, budget and other project information, our Project Manager communicates those goals and objectives to the A. J. Pietsch Project Team. |
|
√ |
Routine Project Status Meetings: Oftentimes casual, the Project Manager monitors the project status by having daily conversations and weekly meetings with team members and other shop staff, such as the shop foreman. |
|
√ |
Ongoing Client Meetings: Whether in person or via telephone, the Project Manager works closely with the client to keep them apprised of the project status. |
|
√ |
Weekly Senior Staff Meetings: Project Managers participate in the firm’s weekly Senior Staff Meetings to keep the Operations Manager and relevant staff updated on project requirements, including staffing issues, inventory control, scheduling matters, materials management and other issues that could affect a project. |

Quality Certified |
 |
A. J. Pietsch is certified for premium grade fabrication and installation
through the Architectural Woodwork Institute’s Quality Certification Program
(QCP). The QCP was designed to provide owners the “peace of
mind” knowing that architectural woodwork will comply with the
AWI Quality
Standards Illustrated when incorporated in construction documents. This
program is the authoritative reference for compliance and has been officially
adopted by the General Services Association (GSA) as part of its woodwork
specifications for all newly constructed federal buildings and remodeling
projects under its management. The American Subcontractors Association (ASA)
has also endorsed the QCP, referring to it as the “premier certification
program of the architectural woodwork industry.”
Commitment to Quality
“A. J. Pietsch Company has long been a presence in the local community. But
what’s kept us in business all these years isn’t just fine woodwork…it’s the
quality service we provide to our customers. Our reputation is a prized
asset and high standards are the only type we have. So when clients need
solutions, they call A. J. Pietsch. When an owner needs a partner, not a
contractor, they team with A. J. Pietsch. In fact, when quality and
reputation cannot be compromised, people rely on
A. J. Pietsch.
“And that’s our commitment to clients: Quality – first, foremost, always.”
